Gaslighting America

Littlechild@emperorsnuclothes.com/ November 27, 2020/ Uncategorized

The term “gaslighting” refers to a type of psychological manipulation in which the manipulator endeavors to convince the victim that their perception of reality is wrong, thereby making them question their own sanity. Although the term may sound bizarre, it is valid psychological jargon and is used in peer reviewed psychological literature and analysis (see Dorpat, Theodore, L. [1996] and Shengold, Leonard, L. [1976], among others).

The concept originated in a British theatrical play of the same name in 1938. It was made into a movie with Ingrid Bergman and Joseph Cotten in 1944. In that drama, an abusive husband attempts to convince his wife and others that she is insane by manipulating small elements of their environment and insisting that when she notices them, that she is mistaken and delusional. The play’s title alludes to how the abusive husband slowly dims the gas lights in their home, while pretending nothing has changed. This ruse and others are intended to destabilizer her to the point where she is declared incompetent and is institutionalized. Creepy, isn’t it?

Well, dear readers, it would appear that America’s beloved major media is now trying to do the same thing to us. Anyone who doubts the integrity of the 2020 election, must, they imply, be crazy. Certifiable, in fact. Instead of manipulating gas lights, however, the media barrages us with a litany of declarations. You’ve heard them all: NO EVIDENCE OF FRAUD! BASELESS ALLEGATIONS! UNSUBSTANTIATED CLAIMS! NO PROOF! CONSPIRACY THEORIES! DELUSIONAL ACCUSATIONS! And on and on and on. These proclamations are DESIGNED with one specific motive: to shake the conviction of normal Americans who might, just might, wonder about why Republican election monitors were turned away in numerous locations during the canvassing process. Why anomalous statistical “irregularities” occurred again and again. Why the Smartmatic software in Dominion Voting Machines has “back doors” that allow changes in counting. Why hundreds of people have signed affidavits alleging that they were instructed to back date ballots that arrived late as well as other illegal practices. Why mail in ballots were dropped off in the middle of the night, by NON POST OFFICE trucks. Why people connected to Dominion and Smartmatic have had vehement anti Trump rants on Facebook. The “gaslighting” going on now is intended to make whatever Americans that might have an intuitive sense that there’s “something rotten in Denmark” feel insecure or even embarrassed to be harboring such reservations.

Ideally, clear thinking people should have sensed the subterfuge early on. In response to the ubiquitous “reassurances”, plastered across our media, they should have immediately asked: “Wait a minute! Just how is it that you can declare that there’s ‘no evidence’ of fraud just TWELVE HOURS AFTER THE POLLS CLOSED?” “How ARE you so sure that the allegations of fraud are “baseless?” “Might proving election tampering, in this day and age, be a difficult thing to do?” “Might that process require MORE THAN A FEW DAYS of investigation?” And, so on. Valid concerns, all. But, that’s where the “gaslighting” comes in: “Gee, major media says, over and over again, that my intuitions are baseless. I guess maybe it is a bit crazy to harbor such doubts. Maybe, I’m just paranoid.” And the like. “Gaslighting” can WORK!

But, ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to offer a reality check: grave suspicions regarding this election are NOT lunacy. There is much here that smells to high heaven. PROVING such, I imagine, will be a difficult endeavor. But it may be possible. Affidavits are pilling up. Witnesses are coming forward. Statisticians are doing their work. Our courts are now involved. And, EVIDENCE IS COMING TOGETHER.

So, along these lines, I will leave you with some of that evidence. The link that follows is to a brilliant analysis by Voter Integrity Project’s President Matt Braynard. In this video you will see a clear eyed and measured probe of voting anomalies in six battleground states. But, before the reader’s eyes glaze over, I should point out that analysis presented is NOT fundamentally statistical or mathematical. It is, however, LOGICAL. It examines things like unreturned ballots, individuals who are marked as having voted that report that THEY DID NOT VOTE, change of address discrepancies and other telling findings. You will see that Mr. Braynard is NOT a lunatic, NOT a conspiracy theorist, and NOT a hack. You’ll see that he is a truthful investigator with moral conviction. What he presents are FINDINGS AND FACTS that give a very disturbing picture of what went on on the third of November. A link to his video is as follows:

In conclusion, concerns about widespread election fraud in 2020 are NOT crazy. And, ladies and gentlemen, if you harbor such concerns, YOU are NOT crazy either. Don’t let the “gaslighting” work.
