Guilty As OJ
Of the many different types of criminals that prowl our world, there’s one category that stands apart from the rest. A premier example of such a category is OJ Simpson. Not only did he commit two grizzly murders (even though he was acquitted in criminal court, he WAS found guilty in civil court, and 10 million dollars of investigation spent by both sides never produced one piece of evidence pointing to anyone else) but, years latter, he mocked our system of justice (and, in effect, our entire nation) by writing a book that unashamedly recounted the way he carried out the murders, but then avoided full admission of guilt by saying, coyly, the book only described what he “would have done, IF I did it!” Karma eventually came around, however, at least partially, when he served considerable jail time for an unrelated kidnapping charge.
Another candidate in the same criminal category is Joran Van der Sloot. The reader may recall that Van der Sloot was, in 2005, a college student from the Netherlands vacationing in Aruba. Not only did he murder American College Student, Natalee Holloway, he shocked the world after being released by the authorities for lack of evidence, by later contacting Natalee’s parents offering to identify, for money, where Natalee’s body was buried. Karma eventually came around to him too when he was sentenced to 28 years in the hell of the Miguel Castro Prison in Peru (where he is still incarcerated) for a subsequent and unrelated murder.
What do both Simpson and van der Sloot have in common?… Both are murderers with a complete lack of remorse. By their ridiculous claims of innocence as well as their brazen actions after the murders, each man showed that they have not one ounce of guilt or remorse for their horrible crimes. Now, if instead of considering psychopathic killers, we consider a similar category for entire nation states, we find that many nations throughout history could be characterized similarly. The most recent example, however, would have to be China.
The case for Chinese culpability in the pandemic that continues to ravage the globe is clear (as I will demonstrate below). I personally don’t believe that the pandemic was a deliberate case of bioterrorism, as some conspiracy minded commentators have suggested (if China had INTENDED bioterrorism, doing so in the central Chinese city of Wuhan would hardly have been the strategic choice), but rather a breech of containment protocol in their virology lab IN WUHAN is the more likely explanation. The criminal charge, therefore, is obvious: “negligent homicide” (multiplied by a staggering150,500 and counting). Their lack of remorse is also obvious by the way the government covered up the mistake and then willfully misled the World Health Organization (and the rest of the world) in an outrageous attempt to minimize economic damages to themselves as well as other possible, more nefarious motives. And, in a gambit that would be the envy of both Simpson and Van der Sloot, they have since claimed to be worthy of praise for their handling of the whole monstrous affair.
The COVID-19 virus belongs to the corona class of viruses, which are ribonucleic acid (RNA) viruses, and have spike or club like projections on their outer coat. These projections give the virus a crown like appearance when visualized with electron microscopy, and hence the name “corona” which is Latin for “crown.” There are hundreds of corona viruses almost all of which are animal viruses. Only seven types of corona virus infect humans; these include rather innocuous viruses than can cause the “common cold”, but also include more deadly agents such as the viruses that cause SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) and MERS (Mid East Respiratory Syndrome). COVID-19 is closely related to SARS, and appears to be almost as deadly.
It IS known that Chinese virologists have been studying virulent corona viruses since, at least, the SARS epidemic in 2003. In the SARS epidemic, by the way, China itself REPORTED 2 leaks of THAT virus from their laboratories. (“China Reports SARS Death Caused By Lab Leak.” April 26, 2004. www.biospace.com)
SARS-like viruses were investigated in the United States at the CDC in conjunction with China ever since the SARS 2003 epidemic. In 2014, however, the CDC decided that the research was too dangerous and closed down that branch of research destroying all the specimens. After this was done a Chinese researcher on that project left the US and returned to China.
The Wuhan virology lab is the only LEVEL 4 Virology Lab in China, although the bat viruses (from which COVID-19 originated) they were investigating were processed at Level 2 containment because these bat viruses were not considered transmissible to humans.
It IS known that COVID-19 most closely resembles the bat virus RaTG13 which IS known to have been investigated in the Wuhan Lab. It IS also known that Chinese virology research investigated numerous bat viruses obtained from captured bats. By the way, there are no bat caves within 500 miles of Wuhan, so the presence of such a virus in Wuhan could NOT have occurred naturally.
It IS known that the Wuhan Institute Of Virology advertised a JOB POSTING for scientists interested in working on “long term research on the pathogenic biology of bats carrying important diseases” which had “confirmed the origin of bats of major new human and livestock infectious disease”!!! (Source: Tobias Hoonhout, National Review, April 14, 2020). This “help wanted” ad was posted in November and December of last year, even as COVID-19 was beginning to spread.
It IS also known that that US diplomats were warned, in 2018, that the Wuhan Institute Of Virology’s work on “SARS-like corona viruses in bats” combined with “a serious shortage” of proper safety procedures could result in the possibility of a “future emerging corona virus outbreak.” In a series of diplomatic cables, one of which was obtained by the Washington Post’s Josh Rogin, US Embassy officials warned their superiors in the State Department that the Wuhan lab, which they had visited several times, posed a serious health risk.
Now, there have been numerous attempts to label such concerns as “conspiracy theories” and, thereby, dismiss them. A quick Google search yields numerous articles by a number of authors, some, perhaps, with axes to grind, with such titles as “COVID-19 WASN’T Created In A Lab: Here’s How We Know.” and “Sorry Conspiracy Theorists – COVID-19 wasn’t a bioweapon” and “Laboratory Creation Of COVID-19 Thoroughly Debunked”, but, it turns out that there are numerous prominent scientists who take exception to such articles. One such scientist, Dr. Fang Chi-Tai, a professor at the National Taiwan University, cited corroborating French research that found that COVID-19 had FOUR new amino acids incorporated into its proteins that are not found in its closest cousin, RaTG13. It would be EXCEEDINGLY RARE, he maintains, for the natural process of mutagenesis to have resulted in the incorporation of four completely new amino acids in the span of a couple of years since the RaTG13 was sequenced, even for the relatively mutable RNA viruses. For this reason Dr. Fang concluded that: “Researchers likely synthesized COVID-19, although more studies are needed to know for certain.” Speaking to the Taiwan Public Health Association, Dr. Fang concluded that it was probable that the virus was man made and was leaked from the Wuhan Institute Of Virology due to gross mismanagement. There are many more reputable scientists that support his view. In this case, we might say that the “glove DOES fit.”
Lastly, the lack of remorse on China’s part is also obvious, as evidenced by their deliberate dissemination of misinformation and propaganda, numerous examples of which I have chronicled in my previous post, “Trusted Information.” (4/18/20 EmperorsNu Clothes.com)
And, establishing the true onus of responsibility is NOT an academic excercise and it’s not entirely vituperative either. If such a disaster is the result of malfeasance by China, or ANYONE for that matter, it must be identified as such with the aim of preventing it FROM EVER HAPPENING AGAIN!
