Comey Continues To Amaze
Comey continues to amaze! A couple of months ago, James Comey, testifying before the House Committee, admitted that he leaked classified information. But that was OKAY, he proffered, because it was for a “good cause” you see. He felt that a special prosecutor should be appointed to investigate Trump/Russia “collusion” and his leaks were intended to bring that about….Well, OKAY then! Everything is just hunky dory! We’ll just forget about the LAW which prohibits this sort of thing as a FELONY, simply because his intentions were good!
And, after receiving no arrest warrant after publicly admitting this FELONY, you would think he’d lay low, hoping to remain “under the radar”…..But, NO! The man will NOT shut up. He’s become a regular “Chatty Kathy”! (thanks LRM)
Then, as reported in the New York Times on Friday, in his book, “A Higher Loyalty” (Which the NYT, apparently, got early access to) Comey says that he announced the reopening of his “investigation” of Hillary because he was “sure she would win”. What?!!! Come again?!!! If that statement doesn’t REEK of partisan politics, I don’t know what does! Remember, he’s SUPPOSED to be an impartial seeker of TRUTH.
Then, later on Friday in an ABC interview, Comey admitted to George Stephanopoulos that he did NOT inform President Trump that the Steel Dossier was FUNDED by the Democratic Party. Maybe it just SLIPPED his mind? No, not really! He went on to say that he felt that Mr. Trump didn’t “need to know”! What?!!! Information pinpointing the source of a fraudulent, extremely derogatory, and libelous missive aimed directly at him – he didn’t NEED TO KNOW its source?!!! Please….
And when Stephanopoulos pressed him further on the matter, questioning “didn’t Mr. Trump have the RIGHT TO KNOW?” Comey replied that “I DON’T KNOW THE ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION”?!!! What?!!!! The former director of one of the world’s largest investigative agencies DOESN’T know what rights an American citizen might have? It boggles the mind!
Hopefully, in a few months, when we have a new Attorney General, we’ll see action on this bizarre, duplicitous, corrupt and criminal man.
