Retraction

It appears that I’ll have to retract one point from my 9/25/16 post titled “The Land of Make Believe.”

In that essay I stupidly reiterated statements from authorities in Washington State that no jihadi material was found on Arcan Cetin’s computer. Cetin is the Cascade Mall shooter who cold bloodedly executed five shoppers on September 24. Guess what? Turns out that’s not true! There WERE jihadi references on his computer! I SHOULD have known better.

It has now been acknowledged that Cetin used the term “Subhan Allah” (“Glory to Allah” in Arabic) numerous times on line. He also professed admiration for al-Baghdadi (the leader of ISIS, and, who some Muslims feel is the Mahdi, or Twelfth Immam, who will the world to the final battle at Armageddon). And admiration for Khamenei, the Grand Ayatollah who is the biggest purveyor of state sponsored terrorism on earth.

The fact that Cetin had “mental problems” (don’t they ALL?) in no way mitigates the the terroristic nature of this blossoming jihadist’s attacks.

Oh, well. Live and learn!
