How Many Times?
How many times? FIVE? TWENTY? ONE HUNDRED? ONE THOUSAND? How many times do they expect us to believe them? How many times do the expect us to accept their declarations, issued nearly every day now, that jihadi terrorism has “NOTHING TO DO WITH ISLAM”?
We might buy these declarations if Islamic terror was a rare event. We might chalk up the rare or even occasional attack to psychiatric illness or, some sort of deluded attempt at protest, or perhaps even a misunderstanding of the Koran. These “explanations” might work for the rare or occasional attack, but these attacks are coming NEARLY EVERY DAY! The apologist excuses have become increasing worn, increasingly threadbare and, finally, torn! They simply are NOT credible any longer.
Over the past year I have had the opportunity to read the Koran (Dawood translation), the Hadith (the Bukhari edition), the Sirat (the Guillaume translation) and finally the Reliance of the Traveler (the Naqib Al-Misri version, which is the primary codification of Islamic law). I recommend that every American read these books and see for themselves whether the terror attacks are “un-Islamic”. All of the books mentioned above are available through Amazon and other on line vendors. They will, for most Americans, be eye opening! If you’ve had any exposure to parts of the Koran and found them frightening, you will find Reliance of The Traveler TERRIFYING! In the quartet of books listed above, in addition to the numerous episodes of violence, the frequent threats and warnings, perhaps the most disturbing feature of these books is the double standard of morality that they espouse. The merciful and compassionate passages refer, unfortunately, only to believers (Muslims). These lyrical and compassionate passages do NOT apply to Kaffirs (infidels) who may be taxed, raped, murdered and forced to live in subservience to Muslims (dhimmitude) where they must pay the jizya (infidel tax), remain clean shaven so that they can be quickly identified, walk behind Muslims on the street and observe many other demeaning laws and “feel themselves to be subdued”! It is not often pointed out by Muslim apologists, but when you hear them quoting lyrical and compassionate passages from the Koran, these apply only to Muslims! Don’t believe me? Consider the fact that Cairo University, which is one of the most important centers of Islamic “jurisprudence” in the world, has NEVER condemned jihadi violence! NEVER! So when you hear Mr. Obama and many other Islamic apologists repeating their disingenuous mantra “NOTHING TO DO WITH ISLAM”, be very WARY about what’s being said. Don’t believe me? I challenge you to read the books listed above and decide for yourself. Then YOU will be able to decide how many times to except the “NOTHING TO DO” mantra.
