Insurrection?

Littlechild@emperorsnuclothes.com/ January 11, 2024/ Uncategorized

Last week was the third anniversary of January 6th, 2021. Much was said by MANY commentators and activists, INCLUDING a bombastic screed from our beloved dement in chief, Joe Biden.

History is rife with insurrections, uprisings and revolts. Even a brief perusal of history books or the internet will unearth oodles of examples. Here are just a few:

The Athenian Revolution in 508 BC.
The Athenians were successful in overthrowing the Spartans, preserving Grecian democracy. Weapons used:
Catapults and battering rams. There were also improvised knives, daggers, dagger swords.

The Abbasid revolt in 747-759. The Abbasids successfully defeated the Umayyads. Weapons included knives, swords, maces, axes, hammers, spears, lances, bows, arrows, and crossbows.

The American Revolutionary War (April 19, 1775 – September 3, 1783) against British rule, also known as the American War of Independence. Americans were, of course, victorious. Weapons: Edged weapons played a critical role in this war. Battles like Guilford Courthouse were decided in bloody hand-to-hand combat where bayonets, swords, and axes were used. Riflemen, having no bayonets, relied on knives and tomahawks. Swords were widely used during the war The flintlock musket, however, was the most important weapon of the Revolutionary War. It represented the most advanced technological weapon of the 18th century. Muskets were smooth-bored, single-shot, muzzle-loading weapons. The standard rate of fire for infantrymen was three shots per minute.

The Communist Revolution in Russia (March 8, 1917 – June 16, 1923) when Communist insurrectionists overthrew the Tzar and his armies. Weapons: Included rifles such as the Mosin-Nagant, machine guns like the Maxim gun, pistols, and grenades.

I could go on for DAYS, but I think you get the idea. So, with all this in mind, dear reader, can you see a common factor among all of these? Yes, well, in EACH of them there the insurrectionists WON! But, more importantly, in each and every case the insurrectionists had…. weapons! It’s as simple as that. The so called “insurrectionists” of January 6th had NO WEAPONS. That’s it. An “insurrection” without weapons is NOT an insurrection. It is a demonstration, a protest, or, perhaps, even a RIOT. It drives me CRAZY to hear Biden, in his most recent rambling diatribe, repeat OVER AND OVER again: “insurrection” “insurrection” and “insurrection.” And how American Democracy was “close to collapse.” And “our nation was in peril.” etc., etc., etc. To this I would respond with sleepy Joe’s own words: “cum ON, MAN!” Despite the obvious subterfuge, Democrats bought it. Or said they did. And, of course, major media swallowed this whole “kettle of fish” with gusto!

So, we can, and SHOULD, “push back” against such deception, and be clear and concise: Washington, D.C., January 6th, 2021, was NOT an insurrection. But, can we say more?… Yes, we most certainly can: The real insurrection was NOT January 6th, 2021, but, instead, was the SUMMER OF 2020. Yes, that’s right, the summer of George Floyd.

During the summer of 2020, America faced the greatest and most dangerous insurrection since the civil war. Malicious insurrectionists ran amok across America throughout that summer. Unlike the January 6th participants they WERE armed: bricks (all neatly piled up in predesignated locations), rocks, crowbars, fireworks and cherry bombs, “Molotov cocktails,” firebombs, some guns, ramming vehicles and other improvised weapons. During that summer, insurrectionists burned or destroyed many many buildings, both public and private, causing TWENTY FIVE (25) DEATHS, and BILLIONS in property damage (insurance payments exceeded TWO BILLION dollars, but much of the damage was uninsured). Attacks occurred in ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY (140!) cities (reference: axios.com) severely straining the ability of law enforcement to respond. Our nation at that time was VERY CLOSE to open civil war. And, unlike January 6th, the vast majority of insurrectionists WERE NEVER ARRESTED AND NEVER PROSECUTED! In fact, they were often encouraged by the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and numerous members of national media. That, ladies and gentleman, was much closer to insurrection than anything that occurred on January 6th.
