It’s No Longer Journalism
Last week the news coverage of the weaponized automobile massacre (WAM) in New York City by Islamic terrorist Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov is yet another example of what major media newscasters in the United States have become: mindless automatons.
Despite the fact that Saipov’s attack followed the precise pattern of similar Islamist attacks that have become extremely common in Europe over the past few years, our major media studiously AVOIDED, for hours, so much as a whisper of the word “terrorism.”
Despite the fact that Saipov followed the ISIS instruction materials precisely, our media lacked the wherewithal, for several hours, to even MENTION the “T word.”
Initially, we were told that the incident was an “accident”. An “accident”? An “accident” that went on for nearly a MILE?!
We were then told that it was a case of “road rage”. “Road rage”? Road rage that occurred on a BIKE path with restricted auto access?!
We were then told that, on exiting the vehicle, the perpetrator shouted “something”? Something? “Something”, when several witnesses clearly said that the “something” was Allahu Akbar, the battle cry of the jihadis?!
We were then told that the perpetrator was an “Asian man”. An “Asian man” when witnesses described a man with a unkempt full beard, the kind favored by ISIS and NEVER seen on true Orientals?!
After several hours, the puppeteer Mayor DeBlasio (in the face of mounting irrefutable evidence) finally gave the go ahead for the media to use the “T word”, and the media FINALLY uttered the forbidden term. But, the subterfuge didn’t stop there.
Even after the media acknowledged that the attack was terrorism, we were still told that the perpetrator was a “Florida man”. A “Florida man”? A “Florida man” that, coincidentally, was born in Uzbekistan, and emigrated to this country via a government sponsored “Diversity Lottery”?!
We were then told that he has “no connection” to terror networks. “No connection”? “No connection” to terror networks despite the fact that he had HUNDREDS of ISIS videos on his computer, and had numerous contacts with individuals on terror watch lists (including Mukhammadzior Kadirov, who has recently been taken in for questioning), and had, himself been questioned in connection with terrorism in the past by the FBI?!
Again and again the “newscasters” (as well as their writers and editors) failed to “connect the dots” either on purpose or by way of gross incompetence. The terrorist pattern was plain to see from the outset, but was shunned by our marionette media until the Pied Piper gave the “okay”. When media “journalists” work in this way, what they do is no longer journalism. It’s propaganda.
