Requirements For The Presidency
Recently it has come to light that Presidential Candidate Nikki Haley may have had a number of illicit sexual liaisons, one of them, reportedly, “a one night stand.” These revelations, perhaps somewhat surprisingly, have caused me to have newfound respect for the lady. How so? Simple. Winning the presidency and actually being president is vouchsafed only for what sociologists call “alphas,” be they male or female. “Sleeping around” is, apparently, an alpha “requirement” for the presidency. Let’s look at the record: Roosevelt (with his wife’s secretary), Eisenhower (with his chauffeur, Kay Summersby), John Kennedy (with Marilyn Monroe as well as everybody that wore a skirt), Johnson (with a White House staffer named Helen Gahagan Douglas, and others), Gerald Ford (with a GERMAN SPY!), H. W. Bush (with his aide Jennifer Fitzgerald), Bill Clinton (with Gennifer Flowers, Monica Lewinsky and everybody that wore a skirt), W. Bush (with Margie Schoedinger), Donald Trump (with Marla Maples, Stormy Daniels and others), Joe Biden (with Jill Biden when, at the time BOTH of them were married to other people) and Barack Obama (with Larry Sinclair [a man] who was scheduled to publicly make his accusation to Congress when he was killed, supposedly by a hit and run motorist, the NIGHT BEFORE HIS testimony!).

So, Candidate Haley has, in my opinion, considerably strengthened her presidential bona fides. Good for her! And, by the way, the only thing that I would criticize Ms. Haley for, is, apparently, poor partner judgement, because I feel that the two paramours that have come out publicly to besmirch Ms. Haley are worse than despicable. A gentleman does NOT, under any circumstances, impugn the reputation of a woman he’s had any sort of relationship with, ESPECIALLY one that was kind enough to grant him special “favors.”
