The Only Thing More Shocking Than The Atrocities Of Hamas
Several of my recent essays have documented the atrocities committed on October 7th against Israel by Hamas terrorists. The internet is rife with similar exposés. Many readers have expressed tremendous shock over what’s been revealed, and, as shocking as those atrocities are, ladies and gentlemen, I’m afraid that there’s something even MORE shocking! What, in God’s name, you might ask, could possibly be more shocking than barbaric attacks on innocent civilians?… The answer is the amazing support that Hamas has enjoyed from many factions across the globe AFTER the atrocities were documented. Let’s look at just some of this support.
Let’s “start at the top” with the United Nations, ostensibly an advocate for world peace and justice. Weiss Maudi, who last year became the first Israeli representative to serve as a senior adviser to the president of the 77th Session of the U.N. General Assembly in New York, has accused several U.N. bodies of wilful neglect, particularly the U.N. Conference on Women, an agency whose specific mandate is to champion the rights of women regardless of race or ethnicity. As documented by Ms. Maudi, these agencies have simply refused to acknowledge that atrocities were committed against Israeli women and young girls, despite much of it having been filmed by the Hamas and Palestinian terrorists themselves (Many of those who carried out the grizzly attacks wore bodycams with the explicit goal of documenting their atrocities, most likely as a way to further terrorize and torment the Israeli public, ISIS-style, long after the attack. They filmed themselves hunting down civilians both in their homes and on the streets of southern Israel, in rural communal farms and in the towns of Sderot and Ofakim, which sit just a few miles from the border with Gaza. In one particularly awful moment, a group of elderly people is gunned down and mutilated on the pavement next to their minibus. In another scene, we see a Hamas terrorist screaming “Allahu Akbar,” as he relentlessly hacks the head off a Thai laborer with a hatchet. Also interspersed throughout the footage, we see snippets of exhilarated terrorists celebrating their heinous acts, including a joyous celebration as they dragged the decapitated bodies of Israeli soldiers and civilians through the streets of Gaza. So, despite all of the above, it appears that the United Nations has no interest what-so-ever in these gruesome crimes against humanity. As Ms. Maudi put it: “Their silence is so deafening it’s sickening.”
Next, what about support among the world’s nations? Yes, many of them, October 7th notwithstanding, STILL support Hamas. The ringleader is, of course, Iran, which is a primary source of money and weapons for Hamas. Direct support also comes from Qatar, Turkey and Malaysia. Diplomatic support comes from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, China, Iraq, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lebanon, Maldives, North Korea, Oman, Pakistan, South Africa, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. (Source: Wikipedia). Not a small contingent, I think you’ll agree. And anti Israeli governments do more than just vote against Israel in the U.N. On November 23 the South African Parliament, for example, completely closed their Israeli Embassy. Apparently, they were not the least bit interested in Israel’s side of any story.
Well then, what about our own government? Yes, we also are guilty. First, there are the FLAGRANT terrorist supporters in the halls of our very own Congress: Ilan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley and Alexandria Occasio-Cortez. But, there are many more clandestine supporters as well. Among them are Democrat Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) & Cori Bush (D-Mo), and others. Each of these (Democrats all) have had to support Hamas surreptitiously for fear of alienating Jewish donors to the Democrat Party. All of them are, however, in one way or another, supporters of Hamas.
What about lower levels of government? Yes, Hamas has proponents there too:
W
And, what about town and local governments. Yep, they’re at it too:
Next, is the amazing support of Hamas from the upper echelons of American academia. See my essay from November 21, 2023, “Terrorism In The Academy,” for further details on this shocking trend. Since the posting of my essay, the President of the University of Pennsylvania (Liz Magill) resigned in disgrace. However, the President of Harvard (Claudine Gay) has held her position after issuing a perfunctory “apology,” as did the President of MIT (Sally Kornbluth). Both antisemites have been SUPPORTED by the governing boards of their institution! There are, actually, too many instances of astonishing support for Hamas in academia to mention, but I think the examples of Harvard, Penn and MIT suffice to show what’s going on. And, aside from the upper echelons of academia, Hamas support can be found at less prestigious institutions as well. At the University of Southern California, for example:
Aside from the University leadership, what about the professors? Yep, they’re guilty too.
what about professors in other countries? They’re at it to:
What about the STUDENTS of our universities? Yes, of course:
Well then, what about secondary schools? Hamas has considerable support there as well. At Hillcrest High School in Queens, New York, hundreds of students rioted when they learned that a single teacher in her private social media account had expressed support for Israel. Waving Palestinian flags, and screaming violent threats, the student mob rioted, destroyed school property, sought the teacher out and tried to crash into her classroom—before she was saved from violence by other teachers and an eventual police arrival.
What about young people in general? Like the Hillcrest students, a majority of young Americans said they believe Israel should “be ended and given to Hamas,” according to a shocking poll. The survey, conducted by Harvard-Harris polling, found 51% of Americans between the ages of 18 and 24 said they believed the long-term answer to the Israel-Palestinian conflict was for “Israel to be ended and given to Hamas and the Palestinians.
Next, what about major media? Surely, these institutions, which have a mandate to provide fair and unbiased reporting, can’t provide support to terrorists the likes of Hamas? Can they?… Unfortunately, they CAN:
And last, what about the CLERGY of that “RELIGION OF PEACE?” Surely, the Imams who best understand the “peaceful” teachings of Islam, must stand firmly against the barbaric killing and torturing of innocents?… Well, NO they don’t, I’m afraid. These “holy” men not only support the actions of Hamas, they openly and unashamedly call for the KILLING of Jews!:
Now, with exception of Islamic clergy (who are firmly rooted in the 7th century) all of the above represent the flowering of the leftist, liberal, progressive Democrat movement. As such, I think it is very important to carefully contemplate all of the above. Normally, the left cleverly disguises the true nature of their agendas. The listings above, however, help us break through the subterfuge and identify what the leftist, liberal, progressive Democrat program really is:…. and that’s EVIL.
