Notes From Battlefield 2020, Part Two
From the Democrat uproar over the completely legal nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, to the blatantly partisan censorship carried out by America’s social media giants, to the amazingly one sided major media coverage of the looming election, to the blistering exposé of emails demonstrating Hunter Biden AND Joe Biden’s criminal activities (a story still being written) there has been a torrent of subjects to discuss.
In the face of this avalanche of material, I’d like just to post links to three videos that MUST be seen. The first is a brilliant discussion of the momentous consequences that hinge on November’s vote. It is laid out by Thomas Klingenstein, CEO of the Claremont Institute think tank. (Thanks, DB/MEO) It’s accessed via the following link.
The next video deals with aspects of the unfolding Hunter Biden hard drive exposé. American social media found this material to be so dangerous to the Biden campaign they went to extraordinary lengths to CENSOR it, claiming, falsely, that the information came from illegally hacked emails; in reality, it came, instead, from Hunter Biden’s laptop abandoned in a computer repair shop (which, in the state of Maryland, enters the public domaine after 90 days). They then claimed it was the product of a “Russian disinformation campaign.” This claim was definitively refuted today by John Ratcliffe, DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE. In addition to censoring individual facebook and twitter users (including the White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany (!), as well as the Trump campaign itself!), they also restricted the NEW YORK POST, a respected major American newspaper (founded, by the way, by Alexander Hamilton), and the fourth largest in the nation! In truth the material was censored because the social media giants all realized, correctly, that it bode ill for their favorite candidate, Joe Biden. The video can be accessed via the following link:
And, last, it’s worthwhile to demonstrate just how breathtakingly partisan coverage of the 2020 campaign has been in major media. The video below contrasts the two presidential “Town Halls” last week on prime time network TV. It switches back and forth between the “hardball questions” shot relentlessly at President Trump and the “softball questions” lobed leisurely to former Vice President Biden. (Thanks, EMG) It can be accessed through the following link, which has to be double clicked:
The amazing double standard that is so evident in the video is, however, not the only important revelation here. Watching Don Lemon spoon feed Biden the answers to his “questions” by embedding the answers in the questions themselves, is shocking not only because it was so blatant, but because it inadvertently demonstrated that, by doing so, Lemon feared not only that Biden couldn’t handle the tough questions; he feared Biden couldn’t handle ANY questions.
