Christmas Greetings 2018
Dear Readers and Friends,
With Christmas 2018 upon us, I would like to share two quotes apropos to this wonderful day. The first quote is from the brilliant mathematician Blaise Pascal. The second is an inscription on a Christmas card sent to me by Marlene Silva, and is my wish this Christmas.
“Just as all things speak about God to those that know Him,
and reveal Him to those that love Him,
they also hide Him from all those
that neither seek Him nor know Him.”
My Christmas wish:
“This Christmas, may God:
open our hearts to His love,
our minds to His wonders,
our ears to His voice,
and our lives to His presence.”

Thank you for your insight into our myriad of problems that seem to be part of our life now. All troubles could be solved by turning to the God we know and his promises. The test is to keep praying for the goals we want and remember to “see” the goal unfold before our eyes, while sometimes being blind to it. Sometimes the answer to our goals is not immediately known, but just wait and there will be a new answer—one that will satisfy us in the long run. Prayer is the answer to our problems—if it be the will of God—-that steel barrier will be built, but first we must put our prayer-all into it. God Bless us all this new year of 2019.
I fully agree, Nancy. In fact, every night I pray that our Lord guides our nation, our government and our President.
