Holy Month Again
It’s the Holy Month again. During this time of prayer and reflection and temperance and fasting, many things are forbidden of the faithful. Killing, however, is not one of them, apparently.
Not even a week has gone by and, as reported in major media sources (BBC News, Al Jazeera, CNN, and the New York Times) the body count is rising RAPIDLY.
May 26: Egypt: 28 Christians on a bus are murdered.
May 26: Egypt (#2): Car bomb results in 18 dead
May 27: Afghanistan: 19 shot dead.
May 27 (#2): Philippines: 8 murdered at a rice mill.
May 28: Philippines: 16 murdered at a hospital.
May 28 (#2): Iraq: bomb at ice cream parlor with16 dead, mostly women and children.
May 31: Kabul, Afghanistan: bomb with 90 dead.
And we’ve still got over three weeks to go.
