Permanent Critical, Part 5
In my last post on Western Civilization’s capitulation to Islam, I discussed the capitulators’ misleading defense of open immigration policies by citing the existence of “homegrown terrorists.” Today, I’d like to discuss another strategy used often by the capitulators: denial.
One of the biggest problems that Western capitulators (who are usually what I call the “LLPD”, or liberal/leftist/progressive/democrats) have, these days, is what to SAY or DO following the the near weekly occurrence of Islamic terror in Western Countries and nearly daily occurrence in Muslim countries (see my post “Can’t Keep Track Of Them All, 5/23/17).
Often, the capitulator strategy is to warn against backlash! After the vicious murder of large numbers innocent souls, capitulators worry only about REPRISALS! That’s what their main concern! What about the vicious murders themselves? What about the innocents killed? What about the terror unleashed? NOT a problem, apparently! Backlash is their big concern. I refer to this type of response as a “decoy” strategy. They respond to the terrorist attack by focusing on something else, which then becomes a “decoy” issue.
In addition to decoy strategies, another ploy is denial. This is sometimes done by simply saying NOTHING about the attack knowing that the American populace has a memory for current events of, apparently, only 3 to 4 days.
In addition to silence, however, there’s the tried and true technique of simply LYING. This technique was used with fascinating efficacy by that master prevaricator, Barack Obama. It was on display on any number of occasions. An excellent example was his speech on December 7, 2016 at MacDill Air Force Base, where he said, incredulously, that “no foreign terrorist organization has successfully planned and executed an attack on the homeland these past eight years.” No? What about the San Bernadino massacre where the perpetrator Rizwan Farook communicated back and forth with the Nussra Front in Syria? What about Omar Mateen? The Orlando shooter had a close friendship with Abu Salha, a known jihadi that had traveled to Syria (and ultimately killed himself in a suicide bombing)? AND, doesn’t the perpetual internet correspondence of “home grown” terrorists with jihadi websites such as “Inspire” (this is where the Boston bombers learned how to make a pressure cooker bomb) and similar qualify as foreign influence?
Denial is also sometimes couched in disingenuous religious terms. Amazingly, following the recent jihadi attack in Manchester, Andy Burnham, the mayor of Manchester, announced that the perpetrator, Salman Abedi, “is not a Muslim”! WHAT?!! He most certainly WAS a Muslim, Mr. Burnham! And further more, he was a Muslim that worshiped often at Mosque. In fact, Abedi’s FRIENDS describe him as a “DEVOUT Muslim.” He had memorized large portions of the Koran. He was often seen walking around Manchester chanting Islamic prayers. (Source: The United Kingdom Telegraph, 5/26/17). Abedi was a Muslim indeed!
Outright denial is also sometimes couched in psychological terms. The idea, of course, is that jihadi terror is carried out only by lunatics and is not, therefore, truly Islamic. Arcan Cetin, the Cascade Mall (Washington State) shooter (and Muslim), for example, was quickly reported to have “PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEMS”! Well, OKAY THEN! NO PROBLEM! The fact that he murdered five innocent people in the name of Islam, isn’t so bad, AFTER ALL!
And, other times, denial involves deliberate and crafty “mislabeling.” The most ludicrous example of this is the Fort Hood massacre by Nidal Hasan of 13 Armed Service Members in the name of Islam. The United States Government’s official classification of this murderous attack? WORK PLACE VIOLENCE! (of course).
So, denial, in its many and varied forms is a main staple of Western Civilization’s capitulation to Islam. In upcoming posts, I will discuss other aspects of this capitulation.
