Unsung Heroes

It’s easy to see that Donald J. Trump is THE hero of this election cycle. His unwavering self confidence, together with an acute understanding of what, exactly, is wrong with America, pulled off a Republican victory against ALL odds!

There are, however, unsung heroes, that, I believe also deserve our gratitude:
1. Julian Assange. Without his well researched “leaks” and exposés, the amazing malfeasance of Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Campaign and the DNC would have never come to light. His steadfast insistence on exposing the truth was essential to her defeat.
2. James O’Keefe. As the leader of Project Veritas, Mr. O’Keefe cast a glaring spotlight on the Clinton Campaign and the DNC’s strategy of “dirty tricks” (funding protest violence, promoting voter fraud, and other crimes) further tarnishing their luster.
3. Peter Schweitzer. His book, Clinton Cash, brought the Clinton Foundation’s subterfuge to the light of day, beginning the process of discovering just how shady and criminal the Clintons are.
4. Juanita Broderick. Her steadfast and sincere allegations of rape by Bill Clinton and intimidation by Hillary Clinton, reminded the American people of their hidden immorality.
5. Reince Pribus. In the EXTREMELY difficult roll as Head of the Republican Party during this tumultuous campaign he remained a rock of centrality and fairness. Well done, Mr. Pribus. Well done!
6. Fox News. Through everything that took place, Fox was the ONLY major network to remain neutral and present a accurate picture of both candidates. Fair and balanced, indeed.
7. Sean Hannity. As an early open (and unapologetic) proponent of Trump, he lent an air of respectability to Trump’s candidacy that was sorely needed.
8. Megan Kelly. Despite early lapses in professionalism, Ms. Kelly, as the contest wore on, made an amazing recovery, and in the end turned out to be, if not a fan of Trump, at least neutral, and, in the last analysis, pretty much “fair and balanced.”!
9. Chris Wallace. Of ALL the debate moderators, he was the ONLY one to really go after Hillary on many points, and, again on many points, to give Trump a fair shake.
10. Ben Carson: Dr. Carson made it acceptable for blacks to support Trump. And intellectuals to support Trump. And black intellectuals to support Trump! He also appears to have awoken America’s evangelicals and revived the roll of religious beliefs in making political choices. I hope he can be coaxed into the Surgeon General’s position.
11. Ann Coulter. An early and vociferous Trump supporter. Her aim was true. Her pen was sharp. Her analysis spot on.
12. Rudy Giuliani. His counsel, I believe, was of inestimable value in Trump’s turnaround. I hope he can be coaxed into the Attorney General position.
13. Newt Gingrich. Again, advice and counsel of inestimable value. I hope he can be coaxed into being Secretary of State.
14. Kellyanne Conway. Trump’s second campaign manager performed, simply, a miracle. I hope she can be coaxed into Chief of Staff.
15. Marco Rubio. His graceful exit from the race and subsequent support of Trump showed him to be a man of integrity and helped deliver the key state of Florida. I can easily see him as a future presidential or vice presidential candidate, depending on what Mr. Mike Pence decides to do when Mr. Trump’s Presidency is done.
16. Ayaan Hirsi Ali. Ms. Ali stood as a witness to the atrocities taking place every single day in the Muslim world, providing a reality check on Hillary’s false Islam narrative. I hope she can be coaxed into the position of ambassador to the UN.
17. Last, and perhaps MOST important, was, of course, Mike Pence. His calm but purposeful demeanor, his intelligence, sincerity and equanimity were a remedy for all of Trump’s shortcomings. His unwavering support was the lynchpin of Mr. Trump’s candidacy. Trump simply would not have won without him. I can easily see him as our next president. Pence/Rubio anyone?
