With news cycles coming at us at a frenetic pace, I haven’t had the time to do extensive essays on them. Yet, much of it does beg for comment. Consequently, I am posting a pastiche of short takes that I’ll call “Sharp Bites.” 1: GAVIN NEWSOM FOR PRESIDENT? It’s no secret that the Governor of California has presidential aspirations. It
By Little Sister and Little Child The democrats have crossed the line. It’s not just protest anymore, it’s sedition. It’s attempted revolution against not just President Trump but the over half of the country that voted for him and his clearly laid out agenda. The violence shown on television is appalling. And, the democrats have shown whose side they are
The First Marxist Pope, Part Two This continues where Part One left off. And for more blatant hypocrisy, consider Francis’s inane crusade against border walls. The Pontiff is on record as saying that “building walls is ‘unchristian.’”Apparently, he had forgotten the fact that, in the Vatican, he lives BEHIND a wall. One that rises to 60 feet in some places.
Right from the outset, Marxists (including Marx himself) have despised religion in general and the Catholic Church in particular. As Marx has famously said: “Religion is the opiate of the masses.” In the early 20th Century during the yearly Communist conventions (Called Communist Internationals or Cominterns) it was often debated whether people of faith should even be ALLOWED to join
Theological evidence for the Divinity of Jesus Christ rests on many “pillars.” Some people cite New Testament narrative concordance with Jewish prophetic scripture. It’s no secret that many of today’s cultural Marxists are atheists. It may surprise some people, however, to learn that the original Marxists (Marxism “Version 1.0,” if you will ), unlike today’s cultural Marxists, were NOT atheists. In fact they DID believe in God, but, like Marx himself, HATED Him. As such, many early Marxists had a romance with satanism.
What is more surprising than the popularity of the terrorist organization Hamas on American campuses? The violence and destruction aimed at what had been considered to be environmentally friendly Tesla vehicles, charging stations, dealerships and manufacturing plants? The threats and “doxing” of Republican politicians and commentators thereby exposing them to activist violence? The threats and intimidation of Jewish students on
With the plethora of executive orders, controversial appointments and international trade tariffs flashing across our media with speeds that, as Trump himself would put it, “we’ve never seen before,” it is becoming apparent that Trump is doing something that American politicians have NEVER done. In fact, what he’s doing is something that American politicians have always been afraid to do:
