WON’T Miss Them
For decades, millions of Iranians have upheld the memory and legacy of the Pahlavi era not only with nostalgia but with renewed calls for national revival, justice, and secular governance. During nationwide uprisings, particularly in 2017, 2019, and 2022, powerful chants such as: “Reza Shah, may your soul be blessed” and “Crown Prince, where are you? Come to our aid,” resounded across cities and villages alike—despite brutal repression. These were not empty slogans; they were a direct mandate from a people yearning for principled leadership and national sovereignty
Now that, with the help of the American Air Force, the Fordow enrichment facility is a smoldering rubble, Ayatollah Khamenei and his cabal of insane Islamist terrorists are very likely on their way out, there’s many things we WON’T miss about them:
1: We WON’T miss their fabulous sense of humor. As the Ayatollah Khomeini, spiritual progenitor to the current Ayatollah Khamenei, put it: “Allah did not create man so that he could have fun. The aim of creation was for mankind to be put to the test through hardship and prayer. An Islamic regime must be serious in every field. There are no jokes in Islam. There is no humor in Islam.” He must have been lots of fun at parties.
2: We WON’T miss their sense of Islamic justice. Directly from the Koran: “As for the thieves, both male and female, cut off their hands. It is the reward of their own deeds, an exemplary punishment from Allah. Allah is mighty, wise.” (Qur’an 5:38) And, this barbaric punishment is NOT from the Middle Ages, dear readers. On June, 10, 2025, from iranintl.com: “Iran amputates hands of two thieves in Isfahan.” Why weren’t leftist liberal “progressive” Democrats bothered by this?
3: We WON’T miss their wonderful culture of tolerance and understanding. In January 1978, Iran criminalized same-sex sexual activity between men and between women. Sentences included a maximum penalty of death. According to Google AI: “There is evidence of the law being enforced in recent years, and LGBT people are regularly subjected to discrimination and violence.” Why weren’t leftist liberal “progressive” Democrats bothered by this?
4: We WON’T miss their respect for higher learning. Their ONLY interest in modern learning is telecommunications and weaponry, tools of jihad. And this myopic view goes WAY back. After the Muslim conquest of Alexandria in 642 AD, Caliph Omar was asked what to do with the thousands of books housed in the famous library. He replied: “If the books contain what is in the Koran, they are unnecessary and should be burned. If they contain what is not in the Koran, they are harmful and should be burned.” So there you have it.
5: We WON’T miss their enlightened sense of jurisprudence. Islamic Sharia law on capital punishment as described by Google AI: “Hanging is the primary method. The majority of convicts in Iran are executed by hanging, usually within prisons. Beheading is still a legal method of execution according to Iranian law.” Google claims, however, its use is declining.” Declining? Well, whoop de do!
6: We WON’T miss all those natty unkempt beards, suave turbans and spiffy men’s gowns. Not to mention all those colorful burkas and chadors. Chic!
7: And, last but not least, we WON’T miss the continual chants of: “DEATH TO AMERICA” and “DEATH TO ISREAL!”
