And for more blatant hypocrisy, consider Francis’s inane crusade against border walls. The Pontiff is on record as saying that “building walls is ‘unchristian.’”Apparently, he had forgotten the fact that, in the Vatican, he lives BEHIND a wall. One that rises to 60 feet in some places. (I’ve circumambulated the Vatican, so I can vouch for the veracity of that statement). So, WHY is the Vatican wall there? To protect the Pope from harm, of course. So why can’t nations do the same? Is security really “anti Christian” as he said. I think not, Jorge.
But the most egregious fault I saw in Francis’s Pontificate, was his complicit silence regarding the bloody genocide that Christians suffer in Africa and the Middle East. EVERY SINGLE DAY there are reports of the Islamic MURDER of Christians throughout these areas. (If the reader thinks I am exaggerating the extent of the carnage, go to:

Headlines like this one HAPPEN EVERY DAY. The perpetrators vary from Fulani herdsmen, Boko Haram, Ahmed al-Sharaa’s Sunnis, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Sharia police of Iran and others, but the result is a continuous BLOODBATH, of devout Christians in those areas. These atrocities were certainly known to the Pontiff. The AMAZING thing is that Francis has spoken NOT ONE WORD of condemnation or even acknowledgement. NOT ONE WORD. NOT ONE petition to the UN. NOT ONE entreaty to the governments involved to protect Christians in their domaine. NOT ONE entreaty to the Imams to dissuade the militants to cease and desist. Not one ANYTHING. How the leader of the Catholic Church can shirk his role as shepherd and protector of his flock is beyond me. (Marxists, in general, are very favorably disposed to Islam, because of that religion’s enmity toward Christianity and Western Civilization, both of which they dearly HATE). By the way, Francis HAS spoken up loudly and often to condemn Israel’s defensive actions against Hamas in Gaza. Genocide of Christians, however?… Mums the word.
Next, Francis appears quite confused regarding the distinctive core teachings of the Catholic Church. As noted in Viral Headlines, “During his hour long speech, a smiling Pope Francis was quoted as telling the Vatican’s guests that the Koran and the spiritual teachings therein are ‘just as valid as the Holy Bible.” …WHAT???!??… “Just as valid.”???? … I don’t recall our Lord Jesus commanding his followers to “kill the idolaters where ever you find them.” (Koran Verse 9:5), or to beat your wife if you “Fear disobedience!” (Koran Verse 4:33), or many other LOATHSOME dictates. It must be that Francis has never read the Koran, because, I ASSUME, he’s read the Bible!
If you go online looking this up you’ll find dozens of disclaimers saying that Francis didn’t say that. However, I saw the original video (which, unsurprisingly, can no longer be found online) with a translation that said EXACTLY that. Next is the most horrifying breach of moral theology I’ve ever heard of. Although the Catholic Church’s teachings on abortion as a mortal sin have been clear for hundreds of years, Francis, being a true Marxist, couldn’t get firmly behind this moral teaching. This fact became evident in the run up to the November 2024 United States Presidential Election when he was concerned that anti abortion Catholics might come out and vote (horror of horrors!) Republican as a vote against a strongly PRO abortion Democrat Kamala Harris. So, in front of the press, Francis grudgingly admitted that “yes abortion MIGHT be wrong, but it was NO WORSE than blocking illegal immigration!” He then added, “so you can take your pick,” meaning you can, in good conscience, vote for proabortionist Kamala Harris because that’s NO WORSE than “immigrant blocking” as advocated by Donald Trump.” WHAT????!!!??? Abortion is NO WORSE than advocating border security???!??? WHAT????!???

Next, something even DARKER. It’s alleged that Francis protected Cardinal Theodor McCarrick, a confirmed pedophile, as long as was humanly possible. Although it is true that, after credible allegations of repeated sexual misconduct towards boys and seminarians was lodged with the Archdiocese of New York, and was covered in the New York Times, Francis did remove McCarrick from public ministry in 2018, but, according to Arch Bishop Carlo Maria Viganò, Pope Francis “knew from at least June 23, 2013 that McCarrick was a serial predator. He knew that he was a corrupt man, he covered for him to the bitter end.” Covering for a priest that rapes ALTER BOYS! My, oh my. (Marxists, in general, are not terribly upset by pedophilia calling pedophiles merely “youth attracted!” – makes it seem almost wholesome, doesn’t it?). Although it is true that is some controversy over exactly “what Francis knew and when he knew it,” the Church has, however, financially settled many law suits against McCarrick).
And, lastly, on a different note, on March 27, 2016, Francis, in front of dozens of cameras, KISSES the feet of Muslim migrants from the Sudan.
Although Jesus, in an act of humility, washed the feet of his disciples, he did NOT wash the feet of his enemies and he certainly didn’t KISS their feet. It’s hard to believe that Francis could be so clueless as not to know that the entire Muslim Umma regards this act as one of SUBMISSION to Allah. What was he going to do next, kiss their fannies?
