In A Nutshell
There are many reasons to not trust the government of the United States of America, especially the current administration. A recent (August 2024) poll by Pew Research found that only 20% of Americans trust the government! (source: https://www.pewresearch.org/). If the reader thinks about this, it shocking to realize that the vast majority of American citizens don’t trust our government as far as they can throw it! (This trust percentage is down from a wopping high of 78% in 1960, by the way). It turns out that there are good reasons for this distrust.
In my lifetime government duplicity began with the “Lee Harvey Oswald, lone gunman” as the sole assassin of John F. Kennedy narrative. From there, there’s an impressive list of deceptions: Iran contra (under Reagan), Watergate (under Nixon), Rosatom (under Bill Clinton), the tarmac meeting of Bill Clinton and Attorney Loretta Lynch (to discuss, according to Ms. Lynch) “grand children and golf,” holding the airports traffic for THREE hours while Hillary was about to be interrogated the next day by James Comey), Hillary’s deleting 35,000 emails under subpoena (that she says were to her “yoga instructor and other personal communications ONLY), the tragic and deadly “Fast and Furious” gun running scheme (under Obama), the tragic and deadly Benghazi debacle (under Hilary and Obama), Crossfire Hurricane, the Steel “dossier,”
false FISA warrants, spying on Trump (under Obama on behalf of Hillary Clinton), the Burisma “quid pro quo” (under Obama/Biden), the fabricated Steel dossier (under candidate Clinton), and others. A shocking list, I think you’ll agree. And that’s just the deceptions that we KNOW about. God knows what skullduggery we DON’T know about.
So, while there’s an impressive history of deception by the government of the United States, the current Biden administration can take “pride of place,” however, in the sheer volume of deception. First there’s the 2020 election itself. No one has ever explained how an anemic has been politician hiding in his basement got 15 million more votes than a very visible Hillary Clinton got in the election before him (2016) and Kamala Harris got in the election after (2024). And no one has explained how that same hiding demented candidate got 11 million more votes in 2020 than the dynamic and engaging and very visible Obama! Then there’s the withdrawal from Afghanistan, where EVERY thing they said was a lie, then the Burisma money laundering scandal, and then the extortion of the government of Ukraine to remove the Ukrainian prosecutor investigating Hunter Biden. Then there’s the “rationale” for the inexplicable transfer of BILLIONS AND BILLIONS of dollars to Iran while consistently they chant “Death to America” and continue to produce weapons grade uranium and long range missiles (why oh WHY, would we give them ANY money at all?), and then there is the clandestine alliance with China. In addition there is a host of “non investigations” on everything from Kamala’s bag of cocaine in the White House, to the Las Vegas shooter to the Trump shooter in Butler, PA. Lastly there’s the Hunter pardon as well as a barrage of pardons to all manner of nefarious criminals including everything from cyber criminals to those accused of child pornography.
Recently, there was a government announcement that wraps up all of this deceit in a nutshell. It was on Fox News about 10 days ago. I haven’t as yet been able to find the link wherein the reader can view the actual footage, but I did view the actual video myself as it was being televised. In it, the interviewee (possibly White House spokesman, John Kirby) said: “The drones are not a threat, if they even exist!” Well, dear reader, what do you make of this?… To me, this statement is the epitome of contradiction! If you are not sure that drones “even exist” that means you have NO information on them. And if you have “no information on them,” how could you possibly determine that they are “NOT a threat?”… Obviously you can’t. So, we come to the inescapable conclusion that the spokesman is contradicting himself and directly LIEING to the American people. That’s it in a “nut shell.”
