Enough Is Enough
On November 5th, 2024, Americans flocked to the polls in droves to defeat Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. Most importantly, however, it was not just the defeat of this terrible, horrible, no good, very bad ticket, but, in addition, it was a clear REBUKE to the “woke” Democrat, leftist, liberal, “progressive” agenda that has been poisoning our fair nation. Simply stated, Americans FINALLY “put their foot down” and said “enough js enough” to all the insanity. What follows is a partial list of the ill-considered and often down right CRAZY parts of this “woke” agenda that NEED IMMEDIATE REMEDIAL ATTENTION:
First, and, perhaps the most unhinged part of the “woke” program was the calls to “DEFUND THE POLICE.” It doesn’t take a genius to realize that without police our society would rapidly degenerate into criminal anarchy.
Next is the phenomenon of “trans girls and women” (i.e. boys and men in women’s uniforms) defeating real girls and women in sports. The blatant unfairness of having biological girls and women being forced to compete, often at a tremendous physical disadvantage, against biological boys and men, SHOULD need no further explanation.
Then there’s the matter of our non existent border allowing, what amounts to an invasion of illegal aliens (10 to 20 MILLION, in fact) including significant numbers of criminals and mental patients was prima facie crazy. NO country in history has allowed such a thing.
Then consider the legal/penal system that defends criminals while disregarding victims. Things like “cashless bail,” ultra lenient sentences and prosecutors that WON’T, IN FACT, PROSECUTE, has turned American streets into WAR ZONES (Chicago being a prime example, with, literally, hundreds of shootings each weekend).
Consider, also a legal/penal system that does not support the police officers that put their life on the line to protect all of us EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Consider a legal/penal system that has convicted officer Derek Chauvin for the “murder” of George Floyd, a career criminal who died of a self ingested fentanyl overdose (and, subsequent emails which showed that the medical examiner and prosecuting attorneys KNEW IT, but were AFRAID to stand up for the truth!).
Then, contemplate a weaponized Department of Justice (DOJ) that branded concerned parents at PTA meetings as “extremists” and “grave threats to our nation.”
Then, there’s flagrantly corrupt Attorney Generals and prosecutors that have waged what has come to be called “LAWFARE “ against Donald Trump, Rudi Giuliani, Michael Flynn, Steve Bannon, Dinesh D’Souza and others.
Most importantly, there’s the trafficking of young children, both male and female, for sexual use, that are smuggled through our “porous border.” This atrocity MUST, for the love of God, be stoped.
Then there’s the fentanyl epidemic, fueled by massive quantities of the drug, smuggled through our non existent border.
Then, there’s the policy of supporting illegal migrants financially while neglecting the needs of our own impoverished citizens. The fact that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), having bestowed a BILLION dollars of aid (hotel accommodations, gift credit cards, etc.) on illegal migrants, and then didn’t have enough funds to help our own citizens of hurricane devastated North Carolina. It boggles the mind.
Then, contemplate the existence of “Sanctuary cities” that harbor and even hide illegal migrants, including dangerous criminals, and, sometimes, go so far as to block agents of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) from DOING THEIR JOB.
Then there’s the current high rate of taxation, both personal and corporate, which holds back that awsome engine of prosperity, the American economy. Over taxed societies NEVER flourish.
Then, there’s the practice of some states allowing UNVERIFIED voting. This is not only unfair to true citizen voters but is UNCONSTITUTIONAL in the extreme.
And although not truly in the realm of law or policy, our society needs to reorient itself to stop celebrating and even promoting the outlandishly weird behavior and mores of the disaffected miscreants that parade themselves unabashed through the public square, assaulting the sensibilities of normal people everywhere and setting a TERRIBLE example for our impressionable youth. Promoting normalcy has, apparently, gone out of fashion.
I imagine that the reader can add to this already rather extensive list. I would encourage readers to do just that, because, literally, enough IS enough.
Lastly, some one needs to appoint “sanity police” who will, forthwith, remove all those tampons from the Minnesota BOY’S LAVATORIES. Amen.E
