Election 2024 Made Simple
Democrats, leftists, liberals and “progressives” love to make politics complicated. The more complicated the political process is rendered, the more room there is for duplicity, “blue smoke and mirrors”, subterfuge and skullduggery. Ladies and gentlemen, I’m writing today to say that the 2024 Presidential race is NOT complicated. In fact, it is the simplest election in recent memory.
One one hand, in Kamala Harris, we have a Democrat candidate that is a radical Marxist in her beliefs and predilections (demonstrated clearly in her own words in video clips available online [https://hannity.com/the-kamala-walz-files/ ]*, obscure in her campaigning, incoherent in her utterances, unserious in her demeanor and dishonest in her claims. How did such a terrible choice for candidacy come to be: SIMPLE. Although it is absolutely VERBOTEN for the sycophantic media to mention this, there is no doubt that she is the penultimate DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) poster child.
On the other hand, in Donald Trump, we have an individual who, despite some admittedly narcissistic character flaws, has a PROVEN track record of accomplishment amply demonstrated during his previous presidential tenure from 2016 to 2020. He has proven, again and again, to provide a straightforward and honest (some might say TOO honest) accounting of his beliefs and future policies, and has incontestably demonstrated love for, and dedication to, our beloved nation.
In an effort to emphasize the simplicity of the election before us, I’ll simply mention a few points that should be on the lips of every Trump supporter as they discuss the election with, hopefully, persuadable friends, family, neighbors, colleagues and acquaintances.
1: The first and most important thing I’d like to do is to finally and completely bury the ONLY discernible argument the Democrats have left: that Trump is a “fascist,” “dictator,” and a Stalin and Hitler all rolled into one, and, as they claim again and again and again, is a “threat to democracy.” The simple rebuttal to this monstrous lie is this: those smears are demonstrably untrue because he has already BEEN President for four years and during that time, did NOTHING that would support any of those accusations.
2: Next is to rebut the vacuous claim that Trump is “ignorant.” (At a politically diverse dinner party a while back, reacting to my declared support of Mr. Trump, I was once asked if I was “Okay with all the Trump IGNORANCE?”). How this smear even exists is difficult to understand in light of the fact that Trump is a graduate of the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania (majoring in economics) and from the Wharton School of Business, one of America’s foremost business schools, and then went on to manifest success in New York real estate (which one knowledgeable commentator described as “the most ferocious ‘shark tank’ in the world”). Enough said.
3: Next is to refute the claim that “smart people don’t “support him.” While it is true that some purportedly “smart people” don’t support him, I would simply point out that Elon Musk, arguably the smartest man presently on planet earth at present, is an AVID Trump supporter, and has donated millions and millions of his own money to Trump’s Campaign.
4: Next is to mention a simple prognostication from commentator Bill O’Reilly, who predicts that Trump WILL win because the entire Harris (and Democrat) “pitch” to the American people is based solely upon hatred of Donald Trump, and, O’Reilly believes, in the last analysis, the majority of American people will reject that.
5: Next is to mention a simple prognostication from commentator Sean Hannity who believes that Trump WILL win because he has the correct positions on the issues that matter the most to the American people: the economy, crime and border security.
6: And last, MY simple prognostication: Trump WILL win because Americans going to the polls will inevitably answer the very telling question that Ronald Reagan posed decades ago: “Are you better off today than you were four years ago?” Few honest people, I think, can answer “yes” to that question, and if their answer is “no,” the choice is clear.
Simple.
