Why Is It?
Why is it that today’s woke culture has to cause injuries and tragedies before its inane policies are recognized for what they are?
1) Why have we had to have a rash of juvenile rapes and murders by illegal aliens before our existing policy of UNVETTED immigration is recognized to be not only stupid but DANGEROUS? Some recent examples:
Victor Martinez Hernandez, 23, faces charges of first-degree murder and rape after police allege he attacked Rachel Morin, 37, on a trail in Bel Air, Maryland, on Aug. 5, 2023. Hernandez is in America illegally.
Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21, and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26, were linked to the death of Jocelyn Nungaray, age TWELVE, and face capital murder charges, the Houston Police Department said Thursday. Nungaray was raped and tortured for HOURS before being murdered by being hit on the head with a rock.
Laken Riley was a 22-year-old nursing student out on her morning run at the University of Georgia when authorities say a stranger dragged her into a secluded area and killed her. Subsequently, a Venezuelan man, José Antonio Ibarra, was arrested. He entered the U.S. illegally and was allowed to stay to pursue his immigration case.
Why do we wait for RAPE AND MURDER to see that unvetted immigration is wrong and dangerous?
2) Recently, we’ve had to have an Italian female Olympic boxer, Angela Carini, beaten horribly by a transgender male, Algerian Imane Khelif, who was allowed to fight her in Olympic boxing as a woman. Some reports say that Carini suffered a broken nose. Khelif had previously been banned from women’s sports in other contests by the International Boxing Commission (IBC) for having an XY (male) chromosome, but the International Olympic Committee (IOC) was too “woke” to be bothered by the facts. This turn of events has garnered much rightful opprobrium from commentators world wide. The “woke minions,” however, have responded with indignant nonsense claiming that, despite XY genetics, that “she” is “really” a woman because she was supposedly raised as one (I wonder how many parents raise their “daughters” to be boxers? Let’s just say that I’m skeptical of the above claim). “Woke” advocates also claim that Khelif has DSD (Differential Sexual Development) and, therefore “she” should be allowed to compete as a woman. This does not reflect the reality of increased musculoskeletal development and strength among XYs, thereby putting Carini at a grave disadvantage. The IOC, by the way, has called criticism of its inherently unfair and dangerous policy “aggressions!”
And, even when bodily injury is not involved, the patent unfairness of letting XYs dominate women’s sports is nauseating. As recently noted by “K-Doll” on X/Twitter: “The Gold in women’s boxing will go to a man. The best female cyclist is a man. The best female swimmer is a man. The best female runner is a man. The best woman’s basketball player is a man. Dylan Mulvaney, a man, was named “Woman of the Year” by Time Magazine!”
3) We’ve had to have innocent law abiding citizens robbed, brutalized and sometimes murdered by thugs that have been released from prison by lenient judges, overworked prosecutors (who settle for plea deals for violent felons thereby allowing them to be sentenced for lesser charges) and the implementation of CASHLESS BAIL that allows criminals to be released minutes after they are charged with a crime (resulting in one NYC criminal being arrested for THREE DIFFERENT CRIMES ON THE SAME DAY!). As reported in the New York Post March 3, 2024 by journalist Jim Quinn: Concerning New York’s criminal-justice reforms of recent years, the outfit Data Collaborative for Justice published a study that showed that, despite claims of success, [woke criminal law] among the most worrisome criminals boosted crime to alarming rates. Quinn, a former prosecutor further explains: “two out three defendants freed under bail reform despite recent prior arrests got picked up for new crimes within just two years.”
Why, indeed, do we let crazy policies stand, thereby endangering our children, women and even normal citizens?
