Look What We’ve Created
For years now, numerous commentators, including myself, have warned against the massive unvetted immigration that our society has seemed unwilling to stop. Our warnings were ignored or were criticized as xenophobic, racist, bigoted and backward. We were satirized, mocked and vilified. We were condemned as “heartless,” “craven,” and “anti-Christian.” But, unfortunately, we were right.
Our nation is now just beginning to see the “fruits” of our misguided “open door” policies. The Democrat party, having long since ceased being the “party of the working class” became quite aware that their traditional coalition (minorities, working people and leftists) was coming undone. Statistics have shown significant migration to the Republican Party of many upwardly mobile minorities (black professionals, working Hispanics and even “Just Walkaway” non traditionally gendered minorities), thereby terrifying the self serving “elites” that comprise today’s Democrat leadership as well as their beneficiaries. So, what’s an anxious Democrat to do? Open our county’s gates to ANYONE, of course. ANYONE, no matter what their culture, background, proclivities, life styles and religious attitudes are, hoping one day they will become grateful and unswerving Democrat voters. What the Democrat leadership did not, and, in fact, still does not recognize is that not all migrants are created equal. And, the biggest problem comes from Mid East.
Migrants from Muslim countries typically do not recognize the hallowed American core value of the separation of church and state. Accordingly, no loyalty is felt among these migrants toward American government, and, indeed toward America herself. Such migrants will NEVER fully integrate into our society, and, as a result, will continue to be a “powder keg.” And that’s EXACTLY what we see storming our fair land right now.
The spark that lit the powder keg was the Hamas/Israel conflict. Ignored is the fact that the conflict was STARTED by Hamas and that the invasion of Israel by Hamas was NOT a true military operation, but was clearly and purely TERRORISM. (Military actions involve soldiers fighting soldiers; Oct 7th was Hamas fighting unarmed non combatants – innocent women, children and men, being tortured, raped, and murdered. Terrorism. Unadulterated terrorism). And, when, in response, Israel has taken appropriate action to find and eliminate what is, in essence, a MORTAL enemy, Hamas, by going into whatever tunnel in which, or rock under which, they try to hide, Israel is painted as the aggressor and is demonized.
What we are now seeing is a cancer on our college campuses. Although colleges have traditionally have been Petri dishes for seditious and anti American sentiment, what we are seeing now goes above and beyond anything we’ve seen since, perhaps, the days of the anti Vietnam war protests of the 60s. And, why does the current conflict take place primarily on college campuses? Two reasons:
1: Campuses are where we’ve allowed concentrations of migrant Muslims and “student” Muslims to fester.
2: Campuses are where malignant leftists reside, both among the student body and, not infrequently among the faculty and even the administrators.
Such a combination is inherently volatile. And dangerous.
And, although the demonstrations currently are primarily on campuses, I do expect “support” conflicts to also occur in Islamic redoubts such as Minneapolis and Dearborn, and others.
Now, there are two amazing things about the current demonstrations:
1: The boldfaced calls to mayhem and murder. That reputably “educated” individuals in America would openly proclaim their desire to harass, intimidate and MURDER Jews would have been unthinkable just a decade ago.
2: How ANTI AMERICAN they demonstrations have become. Would you EVER have thought that chants of “DEATH TO AMERICA” would be heard, not in the streets of Iran or the Mideast, but on the streets of America itself? Again, it would have been unthinkable.
So, ladies and gentlemen, I ask: how, ON EARTH, did the ethos of peace and love in the 60s ever become the chants of HATE and “KILL THE JEWS” we hear today? How ON EARTH?
