Not Worth The Paper
We all know that, for the past two months, pro-Hamas rioters keep shrieking, “ceasefire”. Many people don’t know, however, that there WAS a “ceasefire” in place BEFORE the Oct 7 invasion. Yes, that’s right, there supposedly WAS a ceasefire in effect when the Palestinian terrorists broke down border fences and invaded Israel. The so called “ceasefire” went in to effect on August 31, 2020 and was brokered by Qatar, who, despite being extremely anti semitic itself, likes to consider itself a “player” in Mid Eastern politics. Yes, you read that right… 2020. Surprised?… Don’t be. As I wrote in my essay of November 10, 2023, The Second Month Of War (www.emperorsnuclothes.com):
“Even if Hamas were to sign a truce (provided that Israel was willing to accept one) it should be pointed out that any truce that might be signed would not be worth the paper it’s written on.” In that essay I explain the history of Islamic truces and why many Muslims DON’T regard them as binding.
With this in mind, it’s easier to understand the Hamas attack on October 7th despite the fact that Israel had been negotiating with Hamas through Qatar and had agreements in place. Apparently, Hamas stayed relatively quiet while planning its big attacks.
Now that Israel has foolishly agreed to a truce in exchange for the release of some of the hostages, it’s proving to be a one-sided truce.
As documented in jihadwatch.org (November 30, 2023), on November 29, 2023, there were two IED attacks on Israeli soldiers in Gaza and later Hamas terrorists also opened fire on Israeli soldiers. That’s what a “truce” with Islamic terrorists looks like. And, Oct 7 showed what a “ceasefire” with Islamic terrorists looks like as well.
Never forget: Islam commands Islamic Jihadis to subjugate and kill non-Muslims by any means necessary. Any agreements they make are purely expedient and operational. The moment they have the opportunity to achieve their true goals, they kill again.
