Why SHOULD He?

President Trump is under pressure to “graciously concede” the 2020 election and congratulate Joe Biden, despite the fact that there are many irregularities in key battleground states that leave the outcome far from certain. Aside from such antiquated notions like wanting the truth to come out, why SHOULD he? Why SHOULD he be gracious to the party that spent four YEARS trying to destroy him? To the party that still calls his presidency illegitimate? To the Liberal Democrats Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and, yes, even Joe Biden, who never missed an opportunity to denigrate him? To the party whose candidate called President Trump a “clown,” a “fool” and “Putin’s puppy?” To the party that hired Robert Mueller to carry out endless investigations, witness intimidation and prosecutorial misconduct. To the party who tried to remove him from office for a PHONE CALL? Maybe if the President hadn’t been so busy dealing with all of that nonsense, he would have had more time to focus on more important things in early 2020 like the looming pandemic.
So forgive me if I don’t want President Trump to throw in the towel. What goes around comes around. He’s entitled to a bit of “resistance “ of his own. He’s certainly entitled to demand that the 2020 was fair. We KNOW it wasn’t transparent, and may yet be PROVEN to be fraudulent. He has the right to pursue every legal action available to him, just like EVERY American citizen.
And, in truth, the Democratic resistance he faced for four years goes far beyond just name calling and refusal to accept his victory. His adversaries crossed the line between the political and the criminal. Their entrapment of General Michael Flynn had only one motive: to undermine Trump’s presidency. Their spying on the Trump campaign, their “Russia collusion investigation,” their PAYING for the creation of a fake “dossier”, and their three ring impeachment circus all had the same goal: to nullify the 2016 election. In fact, the only collusion that occurred appears to have been between the Clinton campaign (who paid for the Steele dossier), the FBI (who used the dossier for a FISA warrant) and former president Barak Obama (the ringleader behind the scenes) and, yes, former Vice President Joe Biden too. Put these criminals together with sociopaths Schiff, Nadler, Schumer and Pelosi, and THIS GROUP is what President Trump is supposed to be gracious to?… I don’t think so.
For four years, this cabal, together with their minions in the media, got to play the part of the “resistance,” just like in Star Wars, while Trump was said to be the “evil emperor Palpatine.” But now it’s Trump supporters who get to be the resistance. Cool! Bring me my lightsaber, Obi Wan!
