Really? An Open Letter To Barack Obama
September 3, 2018
Dear Mr. Obama,
Watching replays of your eulogy for John McCain on Saturday, I was quite surprised at the tone of your remarks. During your patronizing screed, you had the unmitigated gall to mouth these words:
“We come to celebrate an extraordinary man, a warrior, a statesman, a patriot who embodied so much that is best in America.”
Really?…Those are your real feelings, Barack?…If so, your memory must be quite limited….You seem to have forgotten ALL of the things that you and your political machine said about him in 2008, and on numerous occasions since. Up until very recently, actually. You may have forgotten, but your attitude and accusations live forever in the digital record you left behind. Or, perhaps clearer in your own voice, your condescending slur: “The campaign’s over, John.”:
You are obviously entitled to have your own denigrating opinions on Mr. McCain, but don’t have the hypocrisy and gall to turn around and claim how much you admired and respected him. Just DON’T do that, Barack. To any American citizen that’s not asleep, it’s nauseating.
I’d forgotten just how annoying Obama sounds!
