Who would have ever thought that in twenty first century America it would become dangerous for governmental officials to go out to dinner? Or to see a movie? Or just to go to and from work? Shocking as that may be, that day seems to be here.

By now, everyone knows that White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was denied service by the Red Hen Restaurant in Lexington, Virginia. As reported by numerous news sources, the restaurant’s owner, Stephanie Wilkinson, confronted Ms. Sanders, and asked her to leave the restaurant. Wilkinson explained that anyone who worked for or with President Trump was “not welcome” in the restaurant. Despite having driven three and a half hours to have dinner with her inlaws (most of which, incidentally, are liberals) Ms. Sanders graciously left the restaurant as requested. Not reported by most of the news agencies, however, is that following the incident, when her family walked across the street to another restaurant (Ms. Sanders elected to just go home) Ms. Wilkinson organized a group of people to go to the other restaurant and yell and harass HER FAMILY from outside.

This incident has become emblematic of the depths to which American leftists and “progressives” have now stooped. But, unfortunately, in the words of “progressive” Congresswoman Maxine Waters, “you ain’t seen nothin’ yet”!

Having lost the Presidency as well as well as majorities in both houses of Congress, and having very weak arguments for their agenda, the left has turned away from discussion, debate, essays, editorials and traditional means of protest, and have turned to the childish (and sad) and desperate strategies of name calling, harassment, bullying and, ultimately, violence.

Last weekend Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi was confronted by three men screaming in her face as she exited a movie (about Mr. Rogers, no less). She had to wipe their saliva off her face.

Secretary of Homeland Security, Kirstjen Nielsen was similarly confronted by a crowd of harassers crying “fascist!’ and had to be protected BY POLICE as she exited a restaurant.

Earlier this week Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell AND HIS WIFE Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao were harassed and bullied as they exited an event in DC. Security agents were necessary to keep them apart.

White House advisor Stephen Miller had “Wanted” Posters taped to his house.

But it gets worse.

A Department Of Homeland Security (name withheld for security purposes) officer returned home to find a burned and decapitated animal left on his doorstep.

And the threats get worse.

On June 20th burnt out 60’s actor Peter Fonda Tweeted that President Trump’s son, Baron, should be kidnapped.

Yesterday, a Florida man, Laurence Wayne Key, was arrested for calling Florida Congressman Brian Mast’s office, saying he would “find the Congressman’s kids and kill them.” He ended with: “Don’t try to find me because you won’t.” Well, they did find him and he has been arrested. (And, by the way, you don’t have to actually kill the children to be arrested; it IS illegal simply to make the threat).

Many activists are now calling for outright violence.

Earlier this week splinter.com (a liberal website with 586,000 followers on Twitter) posted the following: “This is just the beginning.” Then there is a picture of a flaming limousine, followed by the words: “Do you think that being asked to leave a restaurant, or having your meal interrupted or being called by the public is bad? My fascist enabling friends, THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING”. (Emphasis mine). Other posts hark back to a return to 70’s style BOMBINGS.

And there are those protestors that aren’t even afraid to recommend presidential assassination. On June 23, “Black Activist” Samuel Sinyangwe posted that “the American people should not allow Trump to nominate another justice by ANY MEANS NECESSARY”. (Emphasis mine).

And least you think that all this is just posturing, remember it’s just a little over a year since Republican Congressman Steve Scalise was shot and critically wounded BY A BERNIE SANDERS CAMPAIGN VOLUNTEER (a fact that was amazingly de emphasized by the media).

And, least you think that all of this is fantasy paranoia, security teams have now been placed on Ms. Sanders as well as several DHS members. Claire Grady, the acting Deputy Secretary has revealed that there are “credible threats” against members of her department. Accordingly, she has instructed members of the DHS NOT to display their badges in public and to “keep your doors and windows locked”!!!

Yes, dear readers, an “uncivil war” seems to be upon us. We must deal with the perpetrators decisively and with resolve. We must arrest those that harass, bully, intimidate or worse. We must demand, also, that the ringleaders cease and desist or we will hold them accountable as well. And that includes Maxine Waters, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and dozens of others who foment violence online.

But, in order to do that, we must empower our executive and legislative branches. It is CRUCIAL, therefore, to maintain TRUE majorities in Congress (and by TRUE majorities, I don’t include RINOs McCain and Flake). And, I believe that decent, normal Americans will be REPULSED by what is going on now and will vote accordingly. BUT, we have to get the message out. Our subservient leftist media WILL NOT DO SO. So please, don’t hesitate to be a witness. Don’t hesitate to discuss and debate, in a civil manner, of course. Don’t hesitate to contribute to the RNC and to candidates in close races.
