First Anniversary
Dear readers, today marks the first anniversary of my website.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank my readers for taking the time to view my site and read the essays there in. I know that there are literally millions of things to read on line, so I am honored that people take time for my site.
As some of you may have noticed, I haven’t been able to post quite as often as I had in the early months online. The site went online during the politically turbulent campaign for the Presidential Election of November, 2016. Not only was there much activity that begged for commentary, the danger of a Hillary Clinton presidency was so great that I, along with many many others, felt it was our duty to do as much as we could to avert that catastrophe. Fortunately, as it turns out, our efforts were not in vain.
Also, over the past 6 months, my “day job” has gotten busier and I haven’t had quite as much time to do the research necessary for responsible journalism, so my output has, I’m afraid, been lower.
However, in this age of highly biased programing in the mainstream news media, as well as misleading or inane analysis, the need for thoughtful conservative writing is still there, so I intend to continue posting, if at a somewhat reduced rate.
To celebrate my website’s first anniversary, I’ve uploaded nearly one hundred new links to my Table of Contents page. These links will take the reader to essays that were initially posted on Facebook, preceding the origination of my site. Even though many of the essays refer to events in the summer and autumn of 2016, some of the commentary remains relevant today. I hope you’ll take a look and enjoy them.
